How It Works

The Telephone API lets your web application make VoIP calls through HTTP methods to a provided Java web-start phone.

With a Telephone account, you can create as many applications as you desire. Register an application and just add a few lines of code to your site to create a link that will launch the java phone. Your users will be able to make calls to each other in no time.

Your web apps can be hosted on any web or application server. Simply authenticate with Telephone using OAuth and interact through REST HTTP Methods. This means that your site can be coded in any language and you will still be able to integrate Telephone.
